A Fancy Green Day
When I think of it, I didn't get much accomplished today. But I did look fantastic, and that kept me smiling all day! I wore some soft and cozy wool socks from Fox Mills, my super hot Flux jeans by Loomstate, and the Loomstate men's tee I've been testing (see previous post). Love the slate grey color and the contrast with the red birds in flight.
Oh, and, held up my pants with a belt by English Retreads - they make purses and belts and wallets out of old bicycle inner tubes. How lucky for me that the belt matched by outfit perfectly. Even Kamie, my fashionista friend and one of our eco fashion testers, thought I looked fab.

Also, received a gorgeous organic cotton tank from John Patrick that Kamie will be wear testing and reviewing on the main site soon. Here's a little sneak peak. My photography skills don't do it justice, but it's a sweet, well-designed, tunic-length long tank. Wish they'd sent a large so I'd be wearing it!

New Eco Items on Fancy Green Soon
So many fancy things, so little time...received some sweet eco fashion items from Loomstate this past week, like this ultra soft, ultra cool men's tee. Loomstate makes organic cotton tees for men and women. Let me wear and wash and live in them for a bit, then I'll post reviews on the main site.
Also, this coming week - look for reviews on Twist sponges and drinking glasses from the Green Glass Company. I'm loving these glasses. They're made out of reclaimed bottles. They're so fun, and they're just the right size.
And I like the "naked" white sponges from Twist. No dyes, no colors. And some of them have loofah attached for scrubbing action. Nice.
Now, if I set this up right, there should be an Amazon ad/search box below this post, featuring skin care from Dr. Hauschka. Took me forever to find skin care products that worked for me. Dr. H is one of my fav brands. From Germany. Holistic. Check main site for reviews.

Happy Earth Day
Happy Earth Day!!!
Well, to be honest, Earth Day just snuck up on me. I've been so busy following up with all the companies I met at Greenfest in March that I didn't get anything special planned for today. Sorry. All I have is updates for you....
Still, I've been working all day, I haven't used my car, I haven't turned on any lights, and I just washed some clothes in my eco front loader washer with Attitude's planet-safe laundry detergent (reviews on our site now)
I also posted a new review to Fancy Green today (well, at 2 am last night, which is really today): Loomstate men's v-neck t-shirt. Check it out.
I also figured out how to add a "become a fan on facebook" button to my site.
Finally, we've joined the Edun affiliate program, so now you can purchase fair trade, organic fashion directly from our site.

A Little Lesson on Organic Cotton
I was searching YouTube for a video of Rogan Gregory, who designs Loomstate's fabulously fancy organic fashions. Didn't find what I was looking for, but did find a Loomstate video that has a good little lesson on cotton growing! Organic cotton makes gorgeous jeans, but it's also good for cows, owls, rats, snakes, and other pest-eating creatures.

Loomstate Jeans
I’ve been wearing men’s Levi’s 501s for most of my life with no complaints, but I have to be honest...when I discovered Loomstate’s low-rise, super cool organic jeans, I was quick to join the denim renaissance.
